:: Parking

If you are living in New Brunswick, your building may have off-street parking available for you. If it does not or if you must park on the street, you will need a parking permit from the New Brunswick Parking Authority. It is located next to the Rutgers Book Store in the Ferren Mall on Albany Street. For details on how to obtain a New Brunswick parking permit, please visit the New Brunswick Parking Authority website and click “Parking Permits”. For more information, you can also contact the New Brunswick Parking Authority at (732) 545-3118.

You may be eligible for parking on Rutgers-New Brunswick campuses. The lot you are assigned to park in depends on your college affiliation and the kind of student, faculty or staff you are. The Rutgers Department of Transportation Services is located at the Public Safety Building, and is open from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Their phone number is (732) 932-7744, and their email address is parktran@rci.rutgers.edu. For more information, visit the website for your campus: New Brunswick, Camden, or Newark.
