Fall 2024 Hours of Operation: 

  • Monday: CLOSED
  • Tuesday:  12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.
  • Thursday: 12 p.m. - 7 p.m.
  • Friday: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Mobile Food Pantry: Wednesdays 1 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.

****Students have the option to come to the food pantry, use the mobile pantry or use the Knight's Pantry Basic Needs Box once per week.****

ATTENTION!!! - Create an account on PantrySoft prior to stopping by the food pantry. 

The Rutgers Student Food Pantry is staffed by graduate and undergraduate students. While we will do our very best to be open during the times listed, there will be occasions when schedules have to change at the last minute. If you are coming from a distance or going out of your way to visit the pantry, please consider contacting us to ensure that we are open during listed hours. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

Knight's Pantry Basic Needs Box

Fall 2024 Hours of Operation:

****Order online for New Brunswick Rutgers Students Only****

  • Monday-Sunday 5:00 p.m-11:59 p.m.

    ****Orders placed for weekend pick-up must be placed by Friday at 4:00 p.m. at the latest.**** 

The Knight's Pantry Basic Needs Box is for students who are not able to visit the pantry during the normal hours of operation. Please register and order through PantrySoft. ****Orders will NOT contain perishable items**** 

Important information to consider:

  • You can only utilize one of the following services a week. The Food Pantry, Mobile Food Pantry or Knight's Pantry Basic Needs Box. 
  • Only non-perishable items can be selected for pick-ups. No bread, produce, meats etc. can be ordered.
  • Orders must be placed at least a day before the intended pick-up day.

How to use the Knight's Pantry Basic Needs Box:

  1. Register in PantrySoft or log in if you have an existing account. 
  2. Select "After Hours Knight's Pantry Basic Needs Box from the drop-down menu.
  3. Select a time and date for when you would like to pick up an order.
  4. Select the non-perishable items you would like.
  5. Once you are ready to pick up, scan the QR code on the locker and follow the instructions provided.
  6. Once you have picked up your order, make sure to close the locker.
 

Mobile Pantry Hours of Operation

  • Wednesdays: Downtown New Brunswick, Douglass, Busch, & Livingston (appointments preferred, walk-ins welcome) between 1-4:15 pm.
    • 1:00 - 1:30 pm - Bayard Street Parking lot (Between Hub-City and Neilson Park)
    • 1:45 - 2:15 pm - Near Voorhees Chapel
    • 2:30 - 3:00 pm - Busch Campus - Across from BEST Hall (Lot 66A)
    • 3:15 - 3:45 pm - Busch Campus/Graduate & Family Housing (Lot 58D) 
    • 4:00 - 4:15 pm - Livingston Campus - Yellow Lot (behind Qdoba)
  • To schedule a pickup with the mobile pantry, create an account on PantrySoft. Requests need to be made by Tuesday at 5 pm.

  • Personal Care: Soap, Tampons, Deodorant, Dental Essentials, Hair & Skin Care products
  • Household Supplies: Food Storage, Detergent, Can Openers, Toilet Paper, and other Basics
  • Cool Zone: Yogurt, Milk, Dairy, Fruit, Vegetables, Cheese
  • Freezer Zone: Meals, Meat, Veggies AND much more!
