The Rutgers Alumni Association and The Basic Needs Center are partnering to help undergraduate students who may not have the available funds for graduation robes be able to walk proudly with their class. Robes will be collected from alumni donations, cleaned, and lent out to students for their ceremony and other graduation experiences. Students are able to return those robes and pay it forward to the next class of graduates.

Your donation will support undergraduate and graduate students experiencing financial hardships by providing graduation regalia so they can participate in commencement and celebrate an important milestone! Donations are accepted year-round.
How to donate:
Please check to make sure your gown is Rutgers specific, and is clean from stains and tears. If you only have one piece of a set, we will gladly still take them!
Visit the Basic Needs Center to donate your gown during our open hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm OR send it to us through the mail:
